Q:  I am a beginner, will the boot camp classes be too hard for me?

A:  Not at all.  Everyone is encouraged to work out at their own pace, taking breaks whenever needed.  There is never any pressure to do anything you can’t or don’t want to do.  Additionally, alternative exercises for more advanced moves are always provided by the instructor.  As you progress through the 8-week session, you will find that you need fewer breaks and can begin to challenge yourself with more advanced exercises.

Q:  Are boot camp classes for women only?

A:  No, our classes are open to both men and women.

Q:  What do I need to bring to each class?

A:  For both indoor and outdoor classes, please bring water, a yoga mat and a pair of dumbbells (for women, we recommend ~5 lbs, and men can usually go heavier).   Please be aware of weather conditions, and dress appropriately.  So, for example, on a really hot day, bring more water than you would normally, and be sure to wear light clothing

Q:  Do I need to sign up for a full 9-week session?

A:  Yes.  We want you to get results…and results don’t happen overnight!  If you are committed to our 8-week program, doing two classes every week, you will get the best results.

Q:  Do outdoor classes run if it’s raining?

A:  BBC has a “Rain or Shine” policy, which means, Boot Camp classes do run in the rain, however, classes will be cancelled in extreme weather.  So, if there is thunder and lightning, hard rain or extreme heat, the class will be cancelled.  If the weather is looking questionable on the day of a class, be sure to check your email up to an hour before the class, as we will notify you via email of any class cancellations.

Q:  If a class is cancelled, when will it be rescheduled?

A:  Cancelled classes will be rescheduled at the discretion of the instructor, and may be moved to an alternate day during the session, or added on at the end of the session. You will be notified via email of all rescheduling details.

Q:  If I miss a class, can I make it up?

A:  Yes. We offer 2 free “make-up” classes at the end of each session to allow you to make up any missed classes.
