BOOT CAMP

What is it?

Established in 2011, the Burlington Body Camp has fast become a popular workout for Burlington, Hamilton and Milton residents alike.  Run by personal trainers Dan Edmunds and Matt Johnson, the program runs in 9-week sessions starting and finishing at pre-determined times (more on this below).

Each 9-week session has 18 one-hour classes (2 per week) that consist of a 5-minute warm up, a 45-50 minute workout and a 5 minute cool-down.  No class is ever alike and each class is guaranteed to give you a full-body workout by combining cardiovascular and resistance training in the form of:

  • HIIT (High-Intensity Circuit Training)
  • Interval training
  • Core strengthening
  • Body sculpting

Each class can accommodate all fitness levels – from beginner to expert.  The key is MODIFICATION.  We always provide a number of different exercises to suit every fitness level.   So, be assured that beginners will never be expected to do expert-level exercises.  But….at the same time, we also recognize and encourage advanced clients to push themselves to the next level!!

When is it?

Where is it?

Boot Camp sessions run year long. During spring, summer and early fall months, classes are held outdoors and we move indoors when cold weather hits. See our locations for more details.
